Well, alrighty then...what's in store for us this week? For one thing, it will be a little warmer, up to 75 by Tuesday. Whew! Less wind would be nice, too.

Because it was a bit windy and chilly at the Italian-American Festival, but when the sun was out..it was all wonderful.

Marschall Van Doren was comfortable and in his element on the enclosed stage and he really got the party going with his rousing rock and roll dance tunes.

I wore myself out dancing, especially when Judy from the 14th Ave. Steakhouse lounge was out there with me - she can really move it!
I was also recruited to sing a few tunes when Marschall needed a break, which I love to do.

Local crooner, Al Green sang 'Summertime,' and we almost nabbed Pam and Todd from the band "Reckoning" to do a number, but they scooted out for home with their to-go boxes.
So much food! Those Italians really know how to cook it up to feed the multitudes.

After a couple of slices of pizza, Marschall and I headed for the Veterans Club to join Kent Taylor Brown and his cheerful bunch of musicians and singers at the Sunday afternoon jam session.

Overall a very musical weekend!
