Vero Beach Live

Hello all, 

It is indeed a blustery, stormy-like day today, but still so mild and pleasant. It's good to be on the Florida coast this time of year. 

I met a charming lady, Bea, the other night and she G-mailed me this message: "We saw you last nite at Kelley's Pub and told you about our fundraiser for MS that is taking place on April 7th from 3 to 6 PM at the Grove Isle Main Clubhouse.  Tony Schillizzi has offered to perform gratis at this event.  We love his music and are sure it will be a great time.  We provide snacks and food and iced tea but it is a BYOB.  We are asking attendees to make a contribution to the MS Society-checks made to MS.

Bea didn't give me an address, but maybe many of you know the location of Grove Isle. I did find a Grove Isle Condo assoc. at 680 Lake Orchid Circle,Vero, 32960 listed. 
 More on the location as soon as I know. 

This sounds like a great cause and should be enjoyable as Tony Schillizzi sings 'the timeless music' beautifully. 

Norm Burtch sent this review: " Here's a quick review on Vinz Wine Bar entertainment last night. Kent Taylor Brown was his inimitable self, providing music that fit the venue perfectly. There was a good crowd there - every table was filled - yet everyone had a seat. There was more dancing than I expected. Kent had a guest bass guitar player, Tom, who plays bass guitar and tuba for the Riverside Theatre. He also was very good!

Vinz Wine Bar is on the island, near the Beach Market and is a charming indoor/outdoor space put together by owner, Zondra, a woman with remarkable vision and know-how. She brings in a variety of local musicians, so keep your eye on the blog and plan to enjoy an evening there.
