Brrrrr....but the skies are blue! So we're getting our little bit of winter weather, back into the sweaters and jackets...
People walking their dogs, all bundled up always looks strange to me.

Saturday evening it was too chilly for live music under the tent at the Italian American Festival (which benefits their good causes, by the way, and music should be presented by Marschall Van Doren today, 2 -5 at least) I looked for an alternate venue and chose...Tony and Holly at the American Bar and Grill.
And I'm happy I did!

Those two sing so beautifully together - Holly with a clarity and range that defies nature and Tony with his warm tones that make you close your eyes and hear Frank Sinatra.

I walked in to "Hit The Road, Jack" and later just loved Tony's, "Oh What a Night." Due to a minor seasonal throat problem, after singing for 3 hours without a break, Tony was unable to hit the final note of a demanding 'request.' Realizing it, he tossed the 'ball' to Holly and without a moments hesitation, she grabbed it and finished the song. It was amazing. I thought they had done this often, but it was actually the first time. Tony and Holly -what a great team of singers.
