Earlier today I had a rousing conversation with local keyboardist, guitarist and singer, Vince Caporale after his first visit to this blog! He was very complimentary and excited by the concept and offered some good suggestions. So, I'm all pumped up about the possibilities of the full-on website, coming as soon as I find a wonderful 'nerd."

Here's what I know so far about St. Patrick's Day Celebrations:
Kelley's Irish Pub and Deli will host a BIG party on Sunday, the 17th. Above mentioned talent, Vince Caporale and Eddie D'Angelo of DejaVu will play from 1 -5.
Often at Kelley's St. Patty's Day, flute players and Irish singers come to sit in, so it's always quite the party, inside and outside.
Another event is at McGarvey's Pub up on Old Dixie with D.J., Studio Bee. Not live music, I know, but as owner Phyllis spelled out for me, it's an "open format; dance and Irish drinking music." Sounds like fun.
In the same area, the Kilted Mermaid is letting it all hang out on Sunday, their "favorite day of the year!" with Rowan the Wanderer, 2-6 and Kilt the Messenger 7-10.
