A nice little thing happened at the Dockside Grill. We were all enjoying the music of Kent Taylor Brown's keyboards and flute, he added some really beautiful 'jazzy' stuff last night, and then the guest artists did their thing. Captain Country and Melinda sang one of their duets, "Golden Ring," and then the lovely Melinda took over with her 'rodeo' song, "Someday Soon," which we all love.
Finally getting behind the mic, Greg Furcell went into Roy Orbeson mode and did "Crying," and "This Magic Moment." Then Greg took the guitar and he, with Peter Armfield on bass and Kent on keyboards, entertained us for the rest of the set.
As we left, everyone agreed that this had indeed been a special 'Monday night moment' at Dockside with Kent Taylor Brown that we hadn't expected but very much enjoyed.
And the week is just beginning!

Last night at Dockside was a good night. Had a nice steak, listened to good, energetic music, and met a nice woman. What could be better?
