I hope some of you enjoyed music, either at the Blue Star, or Will's55, the American Bar or the new McGarveys, last evening. Or maybe you stopped by The Grove or even went to Waldo's open mic to show your stuff!
Me? The music I enjoyed last evening was from "Beauty and the Beast" at the VB Theatre Guild. I had an interesting evening volunteering in the sound booth for their dress rehearsal. Beautiful set, great voices - a very charming play, so don't miss it.
Thank goodness there is a cornucopia of live music around town tonight.
This weekend, some of us will be entertaining at the Italian Festival, Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons. I know Vince Caporale will be playing keyboard with vocals on Saturday (maybe Friday too) and Marschall Van Doren will bring keyboard and vocals on Saturday, with various guest artists, one of which is Bongo Don with his variety of percussion instruments. Should be fun.
