Hello everyone,
This should be a lovely weekend and I hope you all enjoy a safe and happy St. Patty's Day celebration.
Me mother's name was Beatrice Rowan so I guess I've got a bit of the Irish in me. I intend to float around from here to there on the blessed day and hope to run into many friends along the way.
And remember, when you enjoy our wonderful local musicians, show the love with some generous tips. As ''they' say,"he who pays the piper, calls the tune."

Kelley's Irish Pub and Deli will host a BIG party on Sunday, the 17th. Vince Caporale and Eddie D'Angelo of DejaVu will play from 1 -5.
Often at Kelley's St. Patty's Day, flute players and Irish singers come to sit in, so it's always quite the party, inside and outside.

Another event is at McGarvey's Pub up on Old Dixie with D.J., Studio Bee on Sunday. Not live music, I know, but as owner Phyllis spelled out for me, it's an "open format; dance and Irish drinking music." Sounds like fun.

In the same area, on Sunday, the Kilted Mermaid is letting it all hang out on their "favorite day of the year!" with Rowan the Wanderer, 2-6 and Kilt the Messenger 7-10.

The Vero Beach Veterans has Kent Taylor Brown leading the jam session from 4:30 - 8:30, on Sunday. It's quite likely there will be a wee bit o' Irish singing going on there.

Also, at Shuckdaddy's, the ever popular singing drummer, Rick Collins and Company is the entertainment at the St. Patty's party there on Saturday.
