Ay, and I'd be after wishin' a happy St. Patricks Day to you all!

                         "Erin Go Bragh." (Ireland Forever)

"May your thoughts be as glad as the shamrocks.
May your heart be as light as a song.
May each day bring you bright, happy hours.
That stay with you all the year long."

St. Patty's parties today:

Kelley's Irish Pub and Deli will host a BIG party on Sunday, the 17th.  Vince Caporale and Eddie D'Angelo of DejaVu will play from 1 -5.
Often at Kelley's St. Patty's Day, flute players and Irish singers come to sit in, so it's always quite the party, inside and outside.

Another event is at McGarvey's Pub up on Old Dixie with D.J., Studio Bee on Sunday. Not live music, I know, but as owner Phyllis spelled out for me, it's an "open format; dance and Irish drinking music." Sounds like fun.

In the same area, Old Dixie, on Sunday, the Kilted Mermaid is letting it all hang out to celebrate their "favorite day of the year!" with Rowan the Wanderer,  2-6 and Kilt the Messenger 7-10.

The Vero Beach Veterans has Kent Taylor Brown leading the jam session from 4:30 - 8:30, on Sunday.  It's quite likely there will be a wee bit o' Irish singing going on there.

A couple more Irish thoughts for you.

"Here's to me, and here's to you. And here's to love and laughter. I'll be true as long as you. And not one moment after.
"Continual cheerfulness is a sign of wisdom."
"The Irish do not want anyone to wish them well; they want everyone to wish their enemies ill."
"Here's to you and yours, And to mine and ours, And if mine and ours ever come across you and yours, I hope you and yours will do as much for mine and ours and mine and ours have done for you and yours!"
