Note: The music for the Italian Festival was cancelled due to cold for Saturday. Marschall Van Doren plans to play from 2 to 6 on Sunday.
The festival runs from 11 to 9 on Saturday and from 11 to 7 on Sunday at the Italian American club.
At Kelley's last night, Bob Deniger sang his signature song, "A Kick in the Head" with the DejaVu band and got rave response from the crowd.
He was followed by one of the twins, Cindy Acker doing her signature song, "That's All." No doubt,Vero Beach does have talent!
Heard a little of 'Low Key' in the inside bar at the Patio Restaurant. They were sounding great as I walked in and I would have liked to have stayed to hear more, but had a rendezvous on the island.
Yes, had to meet up with friends and get my "Johnny Nick" fix at his Friday night gig at DiMare Restaurant. Go sometime if you haven't been yet, he is very entertaining. I watched carefully but still can't figure out how his fingers fly so effortless over those piano keys - and always hit the right ones!
