Hello the 'lively' ones in Vero Beach,

We were certainly lively last night at 14th Avenue's "Wednesday night dance party!" The music was wonderful, Jeff Haley was in voice and had everyone up dancing to "Slow Down Linda," which is an amusing name for a fast song. Kent Taylor Brown's fingers were flying and dancing over the black and white keys, (you should watch that sometimes) and even though the dance floor was crowded, everyone was happy and smiling. Perfect middle of the week entertainment at the Steakhouse.

Happy Valentines Day to all, can't do better than celebrate a day of love. So what's happening tonight?

Thursday, 2/14

     >American Bar & Grill - Johnny Nick, 6 - 9+

     >Blue Star - Ed Shanaphy, 6-10

     >YNOT Club - Collins and Co., 6:30 to 9:30+

I know that YNOT Club is having what sounds like a really good deal for Valentines. And of course, with Rick Collins of Collins and Company entertaining, the dance tunes will be plentiful.

Somebody is playing the harp at the Patio tonight, sounds romantic.
And there's Spanish guitarist, Rick Wheeler at Vinz Wine Bar on the beach.
Will's 55 has a duo, Daniel and Ba'se.

Johnny Nick, I'm sure, will come up with some love songs (and a few whacky ones) at the American Bar and Grill tonight at Vista Royale. I know they have what sounds like a yummy special dinner there to celebrate.

(For more info, call the clubs, listed on the green toolbar above, "Where are these clubs located?)

If you're looking for ballroom dancing, Marschall Van Doren will make your wish come true at the Polish Club Friday evening. They have a good dance floor and Marschall is a pro at playing for dancers who enjoy a variety of styles.

I ran into a gentleman friend last night at Havana Nights who said, "I heard some good music at Will's55, I think they were called, the "Lazy Easy" or something like that.
"Hmmm, Lazy Easy, I said, "Never heard of them."
Then I realized he was talking about "Low Key" and we had a good laugh at that.

That very band, "Low Key" with Eric Olson and Bob Martens will be rockin' it at the Blue Star on Friday.

And for some beautiful singing of all the favorites (and requests) don't miss Tony & Holly Friday at the American Bar and Grill.

This just in! Big celebration Friday at the Patio as Louis Archambeau and the Acker Twins, Cindy and Sandy entertain everyone as they celebrate their mutual birthdays. All three were born on Valentines Day! This should definitely be fun.  7-10
