I'm almost ready to go out and do some boogie-ing and hear some good music - another couple of days on the couch and I'll be good to go.
I hear I missed a great party at 14th Ave. Steakhouse last evening. Marschall Van Doren was in for Reckonning, with lead singer, Jeff Haley and Peter Armfield on bass. The place was full, the dance floor was hopping and there were several guest singers on hand. Sounds good to me. Marschall Van Doren has a great energy with that honky-tonk sound and knows how to make the party happen.
I'll make it next Wednesday though, and if the Reckoning Band has not returned to fill their Friday night slot, Kent Taylor Brown will make it happen and if he can't be there for us, maybe Marschall will step in again. As they say, it's all good!
