Hello all,
Well last night was certainly fun, lots of good energy everywhere.
It was a pleasure to have 'Reckoning' back at the 14th Ave. Steakhouse. Welcome back Todd, Pam and Jeff. As always, everyone seemed to be enjoying those great harmonies. After that, some of the same people also enjoyed the vibes at Kelleys Irish Bar.
Ruthie, our ageless tap dancer, did a wonderful routine to "Sunny Side of the Street". She always comes up with a creative outfit to accompany her dance, and last night the blue on white was beautiful. Go Ruthie, you always brighten the r00m.

Vince Caporale of 'Deja Vu' was certainly 'on' last night. He played for his 'guest artists' non-stop and he and Eddie D'Angelo did some of their best songs. I am always thrilled when Vince plays the keyboards and adds some amazing guitar and then last night, he really got our attention with the harmonica! What a gifted guy. Thank you, Vince.
'Captain Country' and Melinda did their very amusing and entertaining numbers and following that, Melinda sang a couple of her favorites.
When Captain Country was singing something from Johnny Cash, Helen just had to get up and do her strut from the Mummer's Ball. Wish I'd gotten a video - that woman can move around the floor amazingly fast!

Every Friday, we get to enjoy these wonderful groups and entertainers and schmooze with our friends. And then, there's always Saturday!

Norm sent this report about last Saturdays 'Groovin' Groundhogs'-
"14th Ave., Saturday night -- the 'Groovin' Groundhogs' were GREAT! Had a fair crowd there, pretty good for a first Sat. night venture by 14th Ave. Lots of dancing - a really good time. They will be there every Sat. in June. "
Wouldn't want to miss it, Norm. I will be there this Saturday evening, for sure, rain or shine.
