Hello all,
Tuesday is shaping up to be a slow music night, but 'seek and ye shall find.' And I'll help you as best I can.
One thing I would consider doing is going to Ft. Pierce to the Black Box, (which is attached to the Sunrise Theater) to hear the wonderful Jazz Jam Session provided by the Jazz and Blues Society. It goes from 7 to 10, only a $5 cover with full bar available.
You will be so pleasantly surprised at what these gentlemen can do with their myriad of instruments - from saxophone, keyboard, bass, trumpet, drums and flute - to guest artists bringing their special talents. I'd call it 'down to earth' jazz where you'll recognize a lot of standards and favorite songs.
Only two sessions remaining after tonight, June 18th and 25th, before they take the summer off. Believe me, if you like jazz, you will love this jam session!
