Thurs 10/3 and FRIDAY 10/4

Hello everyone,                                                  

Tonight is jazz night at the 14th Avenue Steakhouse, 6 - 9.  If you haven't heard Rich Hall and his band - featuring Kent Taylor Brown on jazz guitar and sax -  consider going to the steakhouse for dinner (they have a new menu) and some jazz favorites that you'll recognize and enjoy. 

I finally made it to the gorgeous Endless Summer Winery this past Sunday. It is south on 43rd Ave, out in the 'country' and the grounds are green and beautiful.

I met Gary.... owner and a musician himself and believe me he has some great plans! We talked about a kind of 'Woodstock' this coming Sunday - only it will be called 'Winestock.'  

There is plenty to do there and food and of course, wine -  and wine tasting. A great selection of beers if you prefer. 

And on that particular Sunday,there was jazz - with singer Julie Davis and guitarist, Kelly Dow, up from Ft. Lauderdale to entertain.

I know it sounded good to me, but my musical 'advisers' pointed out that 
this guy is especially talented. 

 I will keep you posted as to events at Endless Summer Winery because you really have to experience the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere out there as well as enjoy the wine tasting and great music.
