Monday 10/7 and Tuesday 10/8

                                                           

Hello everyone, 

Sunday was beautiful and especially nice at the Endless Summer Winery. I love the expanse of green grass all around and the grapevines as a background against the blue sky. 

We arrived to the music of Dockstreet, with their tie-dye shirts and headbands, portraying bands of the 60's since this Sunday's theme was Woodstock.

Most often heard at clubs in Stuart, Dockstreet dusted off their array of 60's favorites for this special occasion.  I was impressed with how good their voices and guitar accompaniment was. I heard Neil Young's voice in the song, "Woodstock,"      (later I learned that Dan is a friend of Neil's!) and Leslie's rendition of "Diamonds and Rust" by Joan Baez was beautifully done.
Their voices came together nicely for the special 'peace and love' tune, "Get Together." You know,  "..come on people now, smile on your brother, everybody get together and love one another, right now.."
Ah yes, I remember it well, all that brotherly and sisterly love. Sweet wasn't it. 
Maybe we'll be hearing more from this very talented duo in the future. 

I can't offer you a lot of music around town tonight, it is Monday after all, but rest assured, there is always the Dockside Grill with Kent Taylor Brown at 6 and a really 'happy' happy hour atmosphere there starting at 4:30. A real favorite in season, come in and enjoy the Dockside atmosphere while it's not too crowded.
