Hello all, 

Well here we are, middle of the week and thankfully there is music to be heard at several venues in and around Vero. 

Not to be missed on Thursday at the 14th Ave. Steakhouse is the Rich Hall Sound with special guest, Kent Taylor Brown. There is a special jazz oriented menu and plenty of room for dancing. Music begins at 5 pm until 8 pm. Reservations will get you a good table - 772-778-1020.

Hello 'live music' lovers, 

I had dinner overlooking the water at the Riverside Cafe last Sunday and heard a trio there, three young entertainers who are part of a band called Mattoid Droids.  
The guitarist, David Gonzolales played for Nancy and Kacy Carajal as they harmonized on such songs as "We Could Have Had It All." They sounded very much like Adele on this one and I especially liked "No White Flag," which only I recognized in my group.

I hope they will let me know where they are playing in the future, I'm sure they will be at the Kilted Mermaid or the Grove downtown soon.

Hello all, 

The jam session at the Vero Beach Veterans on Sunday afternoon took an exciting turn when the "Beatle Guys" showed up. They really nail all the favorites of the Beatles so be sure to catch them when they show up again. 

There were other jammers present too - The Retrorockers performed, as well as keyboardist, Marschall Van Doren.  There should be a jam at the Veterans' club at end of every month and the public is invited, so look for that posting.

People are still high on the great birthday party at the 14th Ave. Steakhouse on Wednesday and Bob is driving a little red car he obviously gave himself as a gift!

So last night, Thursday, we went from the lounge at the back of the Steakhouse to the glamorous front dining room. Phyllis has a new thing going on Thursday's - Jazz - and with that,  a 'jazzy' menu. This week's fare was New Orleans style and people seemed to enjoy every bite.

Tell your friends! Every Thursday, jazz lovers will find the 14th Avenue Steakhouse quite a treat from 5 - 8. 

What else is happening you may wonder.
