Hello live music fans, 

Lovely, lovely - sunny and cool Sunday! Very nice. We need to remember this one when we're under the 'broiler' this summer. 

I wanted to givespecial kudos to Judy, Adam and everyone at the 14th Avenue Steakhouse. No sooner are the incredible Halloween decorations back in the box than the place is turned into a Christmas holiday extravaganza! You can always get into the holiday or birthday spirit at the Steakhouse.

I love what they do with their mascot, Marilyn Monroe, making her part of the current decor.  

This is just one wall, but they are all done up

 in the same charming manner.

             And of course - a tree!                  Kent Taylor Brown enjoyed playing for everyone, surrounded by this cheerful decor.

Another treat awaited us at Kelley's Irish Pub on Friday night. Eddie D'Angelo and Vincent Caporale had a very special 'guest artist' behind the mic.

We were introduced to a singer, Laura Johnson, who was part of the Deja Vu band for many years. She sang with them for 9 years here in Vero at the Holiday Inn.



The woman certainly has a voice and we enjoyed her rendition of "Last Dance" (the Donna Summer's hit), and "You Make Me Feel Brand New," "Help Me Make It Thru the Night" and "Don't Cry Out Loud."  
Maybe Laura will come back and sing for us again soon.
