Hello everyone, 

Hope you have your scuba gear handy! So much rain...but at least it isn't ice and snow... 

Saturday evening can be difficult when one's 'cher ami' has to go out of town on a singing gig, so I thought, "Where can I go around town to hear some relaxing music?" 

I headed over to the island to catch the Rich Hall Trio at Vinz Wine Bar. Owner Zondra looked lovely as usual and I chatted with some old beach friends for a while. I joined some live music fans at a table outside and had a nice glass of wine.

I caught Vinz bartender, Justin, in a serious moment. 

As an added bit of spice, trumpet player Donato sat in for a couple of songs. 

I guess I've learned that I have to write the artists' names down because from evening to next day they can easily disappear from my undependable memory!  

Thanks to Rich Hall and friends for a very enjoyable evening. 

Note of clarification: The 14th Avenue Steakhouse will have all the regular music on Wednesdays and Fridays. The Thursday night jazz and Saturday with the Groovin' Groundhogs' is on hold until after New Years. Voila.
