I did want to notify you that there will be a public memorial service for the local music icon, Billy Mure, on Monday, November 4th, 11 am.  The location is the Immanuel Church, 458 58th Avenue, S.W. 

Billy Mure passed away on Sept. 25th at the age of 98 and had a remarkable past in providing musical accompaniment to celebrated recording artists and enjoyment to many people here and around the country. He was a lovable person with a charming smile for everyone and will surely be missed.
