Wednesday and Thursday

Hello 'live music' lovers and social gad-abouts, 

Here we are, mid-week and gearing up for some fun musical moments, coming soon. And one of those moments will be at the 14th Avenue Steakhouse, Kent Taylor Brown and Jeff Haley always get us in the party mood. 

Another venue would be at the Blue Star, I've heard that Dickie Fredericks is worth the drive to the island. I've been wanting to hear them myself, so I just might try to make both acts. 

Since I have no new 'music news' to report and no new photos, I'll leave the Giraffe Saturday night info up for another day. 


I promised you a photo review of the great evening at the Quilted Giraffe on Saturday night. When my friend Bob Deniger and I arrived, Tony and Holly already had the crowd under their spell.

There was a good deal of celebrating going on - Joy had a birthday and Bill and Sharon Garrity celebrated 20 years!

Carl, Sheila, Jay and Tina have a well placed table AND were speaking some Italian!
Hmmm, could be they are acquaintances of Quilted Giraffe's owners.

I enjoy the Quilted Giraffe more each time I go there, and a lot of it is the 'old world' graciousness and abilities of the owners to make everyone feel at home. Go see for yourself and tell them Tricia sent you.
