Hello Vero's live music fans,
Here's Monday, but I left up the old post because I worked so hard on it! :>) And I like the photos.
See ya over at the Patio!
I took full advantage of Friday's live music line-up and had a great time.
First I went to the "In The Loop," outdoors in front of the Riverside theater at about 6:30. While people were inside enjoying comedy, lots of people were outside enjoying music, food and drinks. The place was packed.
Everybody loves Beatles music and nobody does it better than "The Beatle Guys" of Vero Beach!
Johnny Nick and Tony Schillizzi
Lead Beatle Guys
'In The Loop' is an ongoing event, so be sure to go sometime.
Afterwards, since I was on the island, I stopped by to hear a favorite band, "Dave Scott and the Reckless Shots"at the Grind and Grape. That place was packed too and I saw several old friends. Love when Dave does "Into the Mystic" and then launches into his Rolling Stones numbers. Amazing band!
To top the evening off, I didn't want to miss hearing some great music at the Patio Seafood Restaurant where "The Jacks" were playing. There was an hour left in their act, and I'm so glad I went. This band is great, they've been around a long time and play good blues/rock.
Loved the drums, bass and keyboard but was amazed by band leader Craig Bowers on guitar and vocals. He is really incredible, especially when he did the Alman Brother's "Jessica."
Johnny Nick and his wife, Bobbie stopped by after the 'Loop' gig and John sat in for a couple of Beatles tunes. Played and sang "When I Saw Her Standing There."
When you see "The Jacks" band listed, be sure to go hear them. You'll love it.
Do you see what you miss when you stay home on the couch!
All that music and there was more going on if I'd only had time - Deja Vu at Kelleys, Devils Cut at the Long Branch, Rebecca McIlvain at Blue Star Brasserie, not to mention the Kilted Mermaid and the Quilted Giraffe, - all within a 5 minutes drive.
I love Vero Beach for it's easy access to professional live entertainment.

Lots of people, eating, drinking and enjoying the music at the "In The Loop" event |
Management was impressed. "We have never had a crowd like this for this kind of event." That's because this band, from vocals to keyboards,
bass, drums and guitar, does an authentic rendition of all the Beatles favorites - all of them! They're just good at what they do and people appreciate that.
