Music Maven as part of the festivities |
The big tent had constant pirate and Irish type music that kept the crowd energized and the belly dancers gyrating. The drummers were amazing!
Be sure to enjoy the last day of this really fun extravaganza today - it's free! Plenty of good beer and of course, Shipwreck rum - but everyone mellow and well behaved. Captain Jack, one of the musicians with "Cracque" band said, "We've played at many places all around Florida and this is the nicest we've ever been." "Would you come back next year?" I asked. "Are you kidding! With these beautiful trees and really nice people, we'd come back next week!"
The 'big tent' always had a full audience |
Drummers, Emily and friend, kept the energy high! |
I had a great time, learning how to manage a beer tap and visiting with everyone. The VB Chamber volunteers ran themselves ragged keeping up with all the details, but it was a really great event.
