Saturday 12/20 and Sunday, 12/21

Hello everyone,                                                                           

I had a really great time Friday night. I was behind on visiting music venues, so - I made FOUR stops! 
First, I enjoyed Kent Taylor Brown at the Grille on the Green, they had a full house of diners and dancers. Then, popped into the 14th Avenue Steak house where Reckoning was entertaining; from there an easy jump over to the new Blue Star Bourbon Bar (where the old Bankok Kitchen used to be). Enjoyed hearing Rick Collins and Co. and chatting with keyboardist Jill Collins.
 Then, since it was only 10 pm, I zipped over to Kelleys Irish Bar to party with Deja Vu and all the good folks there. 
Whew! At 11:15, I was on my way home, and safely I will say, since in two of those places, I only had sparkling water! The key is to order non-alcoholic drinks in between the 'spirited' kind.

Quilted Giraffe: Theatre-Go-Round (dinner theatre) will "Raise a Ruckus Tonight." (a night at the country jamboree!) Two seatings - 4:30 pm dinner/6 pm show

Osceola Bistrot: A 4 course menu ; Beef Wellington, Local grouper and some other delicious sounding treats! Champagne toast at midnight. The live music is "Deja Blue" at 8pm to 1am. Maybe music before too. 772-569-1299

Waldo's at the Driftwood: Music by Uproot Hootenany, 8pm to 12:30,  with a champagne toast at midnight. 772-231-7091

Cobalt Room: Celebration under the Stars! Music by the Speds Band with Terry Dobson, 9:30 to 1pm. Tables of ten, $200 per table, with two bottles of champagne and cheese plate at each. $20 cover if only at the bar. Call for details: 772-469-1060
