This is it! Halloween week. One of the best holidays - just dress up, scare people and.. no gifts to buy, no cooking to do - just be silly and have fun! My favorite.

The Beatle Guys are playing at the Orchid Island Brewery Halloween night! 

The Vero Beach Elks Lodge on 26th is having a costume contest.  


Waldo's is also having a contest for best costume and a $250 prize to the winner! The Halloween Spooktacular starts at 8:30 to 11:30 and Uproot Hootenaney is the band. 

Long Branch Saloon - Everyone in costume gets a free drink! 
Best costume contest - 1st prize - $200, 2nd prize, $100 and 3rd prize - $50 bar tab! Live band - Southern Perspective. 

Halloween party at the Quilted Giraffe...Costume competition....Groovin' Groundhogs are the music. Should be fun! 

Riverside Cafe has a DJ and a costume competition and specials on drinks.

I happened to be Island side this afternoon so met some friends at Waldo's. There was this great NY 'jump' band, the Gas House Gorillas, and the lead singer, Rick, had a bit of ape in him. Besides being a great singer, he climbed up on everything in his path, cajoling the crowd inside to come out and dance! I think it was still a bit warm for that though.

Look for this really energetic and tight band back to Vero in February! 

As usual, Monday is a bit thin on the live music scene, but go out and enjoy Kent at the Patio. They have decorated and it's quite impressive. Or, check out Neal on the Beach at Vines.
