WEDNESDAY 6/17

                                            

Hello people, 

Oh my goodness! After Marschall and Sally at Kelley's, (which is going to be 'the place to be' on Tuesdays, 6 - 9pm, so bring friends and come dance and hang out) I dropped in to the Blue Star Bourbon Bar up on 14th Ave.  
Since I was there last, owner Kitty Waggner has really been busy. All the booths are gone and the place looks spacious and fresh with comfortable seating.   

And the music. There is an open jam every Tuesday, and like blues guy, Dave Scott, says, "there are some really great musicians in Vero!" And he's the best of them all.

The surprise guy of the night was the trombone player and he was excellent! He sat in with several singers and really pulled it all together. Then we had a young guy named Joe, playing his white guitar and singing so well, especially the Johnny Cash numbers. 
What a great evening. That's where I'll be next Tuesday, 8 to 11pm, that's for sure. Hope to see you there.
