Hello all, 

Okay.  Weekend. I hope you're ready for more good times and good live music. 

Friday night, I decided to visit an old haunt, the piano lounge at DiMare on the beach. I needed a Johnny Nick 'fix.' 

I was pleasantly surprised to walk in and see Charlie Wilson and his very sweet companion, Toddy. Also with them were Dale and Brenda, two lovely people I'd met at the Elks karaoke evening on Wednesday. 

We once again celebrated Charlie's birthday with me doing another round of Marilyn Monroe's 'Happy Birthday Mr. President" That may just be enough to persuade him to run in 2016! 

This piano bar setting is the perfect place to hear Johnny Nick play, no own the piano and sing all, and I mean all, of our favorites: Mack the Knife, Unchain My Heart, and of course he had the whole packed room singing along to Sweet Caroline. 

 


How to choose? Maybe check out a couple of places. Go exploring.... That's the beauty of Vero, it takes under 10 minutes to get from one place to the next.
