Hello Vero's live music fans,
I want to tell you about a really fun St. Paddy's day moment, last night at the Dockside Grille. This would all be easy, but I have a new IPhone and have been trying to post some photos for about two hours!
So, today's post will be what it is.
Kent Taylor Brown entertains every Monday evening, 6-9 at the Dockside and last night he helped us all celebrate St. Patrick's day.
The ever charming and well dressed Bob and Melody
The energy of the evening was enhanced by these two wonderful people who loved the music and really listened.
Maryellen Costello (that's Irish!) and Annie Crowley enjoy the show(The 'photo bomber' in the adjoining booth is Connie Shine!)
I didn't get photos of them dancing and cheering and singing along because I was trying to figure out the phone. But they were really fun to watch and they joined in with "Have You Ever Seen the Rain."
Note: I would have loved to include a photo of Maryellen's lovely daughter, Katie, but she would have hated the only one I got of her. Sorry Katie. Maybe I should have let you take the photos with this darned new-fangled phone!
Left to right are: Bill Shine of the "Top Hats", Kent Taylor Brown and the talented, Melinda give us the crowd pleaser, "Chatanooga Choo Choo"
Bill Shine really did shine with his soprano sax! You can hear him every Sunday at Squidlips in Sebastian, from 5-9 as he joins his band, the 'Top Hats'. Nancy Richards did a great job with "At Last" but I totally missed photographing it.
We closed the evening with "Danny Boy" which was a fitting end to a really enjoyable St. Paddys' Day.
Well, I didn't close with that exactly. I dropped by Kelley's to see if that celebration was still in swing. Things were winding down from their all day shin-dig, but Vince and Eddie of Deja Vu still had the crowd dancing.
