                                    Weekend Schedule Below

What a party at the 14th Avenue Steakhouse last night! I had a great time visiting with so many friends.

Nice to see people just back for the winter, enjoying the music and dancing, drinks and food.

Mary and Hoy were there, friends from last year and then Judy, who sings all the favorites, entertained us with"Crazy" and "Summertime." Welcome back, Judy.

And thank you, once again Jeff Haley. There is an excitement in your voice that makes us want to get up and dance, dance, dance.

Of course there was Captain Country and his beautiful wife Melinda singing their "Jackson" and "Golden Rings" duets - always fun. We had Greg Fersell who really knows how to deliver a song.

So many good singers. But it was Kent Taylor Brown who once again topped off the evening, thrilling us with Jethro Tull's, "Locomotive Breath," playing flute and guitar!

Just a great evening, once again.  14th Avenue Steakhouse, "the place to be" on Wednesday, 6 to 9.  No doubt.

It's mid-week already!

Enjoyed Kent Taylor Brown at YNOT last evening. Peter Armfield sat in on bass and sang "Mustang Sally" in his unique fashion. Linda Lee sang  a few songs as well. And of course, Bob Deniger spiced things up with "A Kick In The Head" and "Uptown."

Here's the schedule as I see it.

Tonight: Kent Taylor Brown and Jeff Haley at the 14th Avenue Steakhouse, 6 to 9 pm. Hope to see you all there.

Just so you know: The only entertainment at YNOT for the moment is Kent on Tuesdays. There is talk of possibly something on Sunday, but nothing sure yet.

Next week - an actual schedule of music events for the week! Maybe photos soon too.

Add Vinz to Club List

Morning all,

A quick reminder: great dance floor and great food at YNOT Club tonight. And more importantly -
The always wonderful....
Kent Taylor Brown at YNOT Club, 6:30 to to 9:30 pm, 710 U.S. 1, north of Oslo on the east side of the highway. You will see a big martini glass and lights on the building. Check it out for some good dance music and enjoyable favorite tunes.

More later about all the excitement last night at Dockside!

Monday, January 28, 2013

Ah, a little Monday morning rain, keeps the patio palms happy. I'm all rested up and ready to tackle another 'hot' music week.

Most best thing I know so far this morning is -

Kent Taylor Brown at the Dockside Bar and Grille on the Point, 6 to 9 pm. (See toolbar above for exact address.) I will be there, for sure.

For Tuesday --

The always wonderful....

Kent Taylor Brown at YNOT Club, 6:30 to to 9:30 pm, 710 U.S. 1, south of Oslo on the east side of the highway. You will see a big martini glass and lights on the building. Check it out for some good dance music and enjoyable favorite tunes.

Feel like singing? Wanda Johnson makes it easy.

Wanda's karaoke is happening at Kelly's Irish Pub and Deli, 7 to 11 pm, on Miracle Mile.  Lots of fun there and some great singers. Good sandwiches too!

The RiverRats will be at the Patio, from 7:30 'til probably 9 pm or later. Bobby and Neil are pros who play at Havana Nights and various other venues. Excellent on piano, guitar and vocals.

Sunday, January 27, 2013

A beautiful Sunday, (my bike is calling me), but you can bet I slept in a little later than usual. What a musical week!

Enjoyed beginning of the evening Saturday with Tony and Holly, two superb singers, at the American Bar at Vista Royale. They can sing anything! They do solos and duets, all the great ones like "My Guy," "Chicago," "That's Life" and "What's New?"  They both have an exceptional range and one of my favorites was, "You Don't Bring Me Flowers Anymore."  Just a 'flick' of the computer and they had just the accompaniment to satisfy any request. Both of these performers are pleasant to look at as well as listen to and I enjoyed the playful give and take on some tunes, especially, "Goodie, Goodie"

Couldn't stay for the entire show though, had to rush over to hear my friend, Louie Archambeau at Wills55, (the new name for the old Chophouse on Ocean) where I also found Frank Gavin and the twins Sandy and Cindy. They had already done a song with Louie - their famous "Route 66."  Also enjoyed hanging out with their friend, Kathleen and my pal, Cathy Anderson. I had a great time there and the diners and folks at the bar seemed to love Louie's banjo tunes. Louie called me up for a couple of songs, "Crazy," and Bob Dylan's "I'll Be Your Baby Tonight."

But I couldn't stay to the end of that show either! Kitty was hosting her birthday bash down at Central Beach at her Blue Star wine bar! I couldn't miss that. When I arrived, the streets were filled with well wishers, the band St.John's Wood was on the terrace doing some Beatles tunes for the throngs below. Inside, another band, The Jacks, was driving the inside crowd with it's tight and soul bending rock and roll. It felt like the old 'mosh pit,' down in front. They are wonderfully professional musicians.
This info I got from their website: the Jacks are a classic or roots rock band. Craig Bowers on vocals and guitar, plus mandolin and harmonica. (He was great! Strong, distinctive voice and he made that guitar sing, or whatever else he wanted it to do.) Ed Karwatske on keyboards; Chuck Shoaf on bass, (always good to hear Chuck); and Sam
Masiello on drums. Like the bio says, "the Jacks are definitely the little band with the big sound." Check out their website. I just typed in 'the Jacks band, Vero Beach, Fl.' You can hear audios of their songs.

Thanks to Mike Presutti of the band, Nasty Habits, for helping me get the Jacks names straight.

I got some good photos, just need some help loading them onto this page! Could someone help me with this technical dilemma?? I'd appreciate it since I'm among the technically challenged.

Good morning and happy Saturday!Gorgeous day; soft, breezy and blue.

Hope all you live music lovers have recovered from that boisterous Friday night at Kelly's with DejaVu! Nice to have Eddie back drumming in spite of his recent surgical repairs and Vince - his fingers dancing over the piano keys when he wasn't playing guitar, (and sometimes even when he was), singing as if he hadn't been out two weeks with the flu. Oh yeah.
And a real treat in the line-up of guest artists: Harvey, Frank and our favorite twins, Cindy and Sandy. The other Frank sang Sweet Caroline - and even I did a couple.
The audience sang along and danced non-stop - what a nice bunch of people - and most of them were still partying until closing. Kelley's Irish Pub on Miracle Mile across from Too-Jays. Great place!

Saturday night: I know we have singing and dancing with Tony and Holly at the American Bar and Grill (Vista Royale) from 6 to 9 pm. I've had rave reviews about these two singers so I'll make time to check them out tonight.
Looks like I'll be sharing my time this evening:
This just in from musician Louie Archambeau, (guitar, banjo and vocals)

Hello live music lovers,

On this beautiful Friday, there are many music choices available locally, and my personal favorites are:

6 to 9pm - The band Reckoning entertains at the 14th Ave. Steakhouse. Pam and Jeff on vocals, Todd makes the music happen. Lots of dancing and socializing going on. A relaxed and fun-filled evening.

8:30 to 11:00 - DejaVue is back! At Kelley's Irish bar and deli, you have Eddie on drums and Vince on keyboards and guitar. They play and sing your favorites and also call up 'guest artists' for a great sing-along. I smile now when I think of all the smiling faces I will see there tonight. And the dancing...and the sandwiches..the great service...our own local 'Cheers.'

7 to 10 pm (or 7:30 pm to 11 pm) the very original Johnny Nick will be at DeMare to totally rule those piano keys and sing non-stop favorites like 'New York, New York,' plus his Billy Joel favorites and show tunes, and will more than likely 'channel' the very amusing, Al Jolson! Always a great evening at the piano bar there.

Note: For addresses and phone numbers, please see the green bar above, "Where are these bars and clubs located?"

Here's a note from Norman Burch, my music news sleuth:
Starting 2/1/13 Havana Nights will stay open until 12 midnight on Friday and Saturday, with late night entertainment from 10 until 12.

Thursday, January 24, 2013

Thursday, the morning after a great evening of music, singers and songs. I am 'awash' in music this morning after last nights 14th Avenue Steak House "Dance Party" with Kent Taylor Brown.

Where to start? Well, of course there was the inimitable Jeff Haley, lead vocals, and the rock solid Peter Armfield on bass, and suddenly Kent calls up Marschall Van Doren to get our juices flowing with his rousing keyboard. Dark glasses and all, Marschall regaled us with Ray Charle's, "What'd I say?"

The party is in full swing as Kent takes up the guitar, and, after some gentle persuasion, Annie of Annie and Company blows us all away with her "Cheatin' Heart" and following that, "Old Time Rock and Roll!"  Annie is an adorable blonde of small stature but when she belts out those tunes you just have to jump up and get into it on the dance floor.

As if that weren't enough, another female vocalist, Lauren Santon kept up the pace with "Sway," and then, a medley of rock starting with "Rockin' Robin." Lovely new voice at the 14th Ave "Dance Party!"

Kent was in his element on guitar and sax and Marschal rocked the keyboards as the floor filled up with enthusiastic dancers. Local beauty and entrepreneur, Trish of 'Blondies Chic Boutique' on the beach  was one of those out there shakin' it up.
And then, Captain Country (Mike) came in just in time to do a Johnny Cash song and the evening was complete.

Thanks to owner, Phyllis, for hosting a memorable evening and - if the fates allow -  there will many more to come!

Whew! What's up for Thursday?

One crowd pleaser I know about is Johnny Nick playing at the American Bar and Grill from 6 to 9 pm (and later.)  This venue is located at Vista Royale, off US 1.

Wednesday, January 23, 2013

Good morning, music lovers!

Beautiful crisp and windy morning. Had such a good time last night, it's really a busy music moment in Vero.

Got word that Kent Taylor Brown had 'happy campers' at YNOT Club last evening.
 Norman Burch reports:

A quick review of YNOT - Kent played, sang and orchestrated his guest artists in his usual wonderful way. The evening was capped off by a great duet of Chatanooga Choo Choo by Judy and Melinda.

Too bad I missed all that. I had promised Frank Gavin that I would go hear some friends of his, the duo, Low Key, at the Blue Star wine bar on the island.
I had a great seat, right up front with my old friend, 'Capt.' Dave Murphy.

These two guys, Bob and Eric really play well together - Bob Martens on mandolin, (such a sweet sound from that instrument) and Eric Olson on vocals and electrified acoustic. Very nice sound and I loved the songs. I'd call their style  eclectic American, leaning toward country/folk. Amusing lyrics such as "a bad day of fishin' beats a good day of anything else," a song written by a local. And then, part of a verse that talks about not catching any fish and Eric laments that, "tonight's fishfry's gonna taste like chicken."  Eric Olson has a very strong and fine voice for these songs. I kept wanting to hear him do some Bob Dylan and eventually he did. We heard "Don't Think Twice" and then some James Taylor followed. Overall, a good music night at Blue Star.

Gotta rest up for the 14th Avenue 'dance party' tonight. Starts at 6 and goes til 9 pm.
Park in the back and access the lounge from there. And bring your dancing shoes.

Tuesday, January 22, 2013

Hello all,
Hope you're having a nice, if not cool and windy Tuesday.

What's up tonight?

The band, Low Key will be performing at the Blue Star wine bar on Tuesday, January 22nd from 7:30 to 10pm.
Bob Martens on mandolin and Eric Olson on guitar and vocals; should be an interesting first appearance for them there. The Blue Star is on Bougainvillea, just behind and north of Cravings on the island.

Also Tuesday: Kent Taylor Brown at YNOT Club, 7 to 10 pm, 710 U.S.

Coming soon:
Tomorrow is Wednesday and the 'place to be' is ... the dance party at 14th Ave Steakhouse, featuring Kent Taylor Brown on keyboards, guitar and saxophone. Add to that the very acrobatic and entertaining Jeff Haley on vocals. Toss in a few 'guest artists' and it should be another evening to remember!
Great food, charming servers (if you're new, tell Judy behind the bar and Adam waiting tables that Tricia sent you.)
I'll certainly be there, 6 to 9 pm, kicking up my heels and having a good time.

Monday, January 21, 2013

Hello Music lovers,

 4:40pm, Monday, 21st. Breaking news!
Marschall's appearance at YNOT cancelled due to early closing tonight. Negotiations underway for Music by Marschall on a different night of the week.

Monday means - Marschall Van Doren at the YNOT club. Drop by from 7 to 10 pm and you'll hear a very energetic and dance-able style of music that will end your Monday perfectly. Guest artists may also show up to join Marschall at the mic.
Can't say enough about the great pizza at YNOT also. It's right off U.S.1, south of Oslo, east side of the highway.

Monday also means Kent Taylor Brown at Dockside. Enjoy happy hour (4 to 6?) and Kent's music, 6 to 9 pm.

Really had a good time at the Verobeach Vets 'jam' on Sunday - four hours of really good music and lots of visiting with friends. Along with Kent Taylor Brown on keyboards, Mark Lepeska on drums and Peter Armfield on bass, we had Mr. Jim Hutchinson and his saxophone. He came in on a lot of the songs and really rounded out the sound. Everyone enjoyed his solo, "Harlem Nocturne" and at one point, he and Kent pleased the crowd with a bit of 'dueling saxes.'

And then, up stepped Richard Wells to play his guitar and sing and he was the perfect addition to the group. Recently from San Antonio, he brought a country-western flavor. As he played and sang, it was obvious he'd been doing his music for a long time.  Glad to have you, Richard.

Bongo Don took a solo on his various drums and a new singer, Robert Deninger regaled us with "Ain't That A Kick In The Head" and "Uptown."

Kent won't be leading the next 'jam' until the first Sunday in February, but there is another band that entertains on the 27th.

Reminders for Tuesday:

The band, Low Key will be performing at the Blue Star wine bar on Tuesday, January 22nd from 7:30 to 10pm. Bob Martens on mandolin and Eric Olson on guitar and vocals; should be an interesting first appearance for them there. The Blue Star is on Bougainvillea, just behind and north of Cravings on the island.

Also Tuesday: Kent Taylor Brown at YNOT Club, 710 U.S. 1, south of Oslo on the east side of the highway. You will see a big martini glass and lights on the building. Check it out.

Feel like singing? Wanda's karaoke is happening at Kelly's Irish Pub and Deli, 7 to 11 pm, on Miracle Mile.  Lots of fun there and some great singers. Good sandwiches too!

Sunday, January 20, 2013

A breezy, mild Sunday morning and I'm thinking about my musical ventures of Saturday evening.

It was raining when I left the house at 7pm to go hear Kent Taylor Brown at the Vinz (Vines) wine bar on A1A, near the Beach Market. I was afraid I would be one of a sparse few daring to venture out, especially since Vinz entertainment is held outside in the arcade though well covered from the elements. Imagine my surprise to see all tables full and nearly every comfy chair and sofa occupied by a music lover! Kent is such a draw, people come from near and wide to hear his mellow and varied sounds on keyboard, sax and flute.

I was impressed with the way owner, Zandra Simm, has created a charming interior bar and exterior 'sitting room' ambiance. Zandra is that attractive lady, always beautifully dressed, cruising through to see if patron's food and beverage needs are being met.

Needless to say, I would have liked to stay 'til 10pm, I was enjoying talking with Emmy, Kent's wife and her dad, Major. Dottie was also there, always a great conversationalist, along with one of her friends, but I'd promised to check out another venue on the mainland before the night was over.

Nice to see, the patio downtown was also booming! Many diners throughout and from the back bar I heard live music. There was the now infamous, Johnny Nick on keyboard. Nearby was a singer friend, Tony something, Johnny likes to call him Tony Spumonti as a joke.Must be something Italian, wouldn't you say?  I'll get his last name when I go hear "Tony and Holly's Timeless Music' gig one of these evenings.
Johnny sang and sang, everything from "Rocket Man" to "Georgia On My Mind," and then, invited me up to 'practice' a few with him. Can't hurt. I was happy to see that tip jar filling up as people came by to thank him for honoring their requests.

Here is a tip I got from a musician and music lover, Frank Gavin:

The band, Low Key will be performing at the Blue Star wine bar on Tuesday, January 22nd from 7:30 to 10pm. Bob Martens on mandolin and Eric Olson on guitar and vocals; should be an interesting first appearance for them there. The Blue Star is on Bougainvillea, just behind and north of Cravings on the island.

See you all at the 'jam' at 4:30 at the Vero Beach Vets. Here's earlier info about the jam:
Most Sunday's,  be sure to go to the Vero Beach Veterans to enjoy the 'jam' with Kent Taylor Brown and all the musicians who sit in with him, and the singers who step up to the mic. Starts at 4:30 until 8:30, located off US 1 at 26th street, just over the railroad tracks.

Saturday, January 19, 2013

It's a rainy day in Vero, (sung to the tune of "A  Rainy Day in Georgia) but still, nice and mild outside.

First a quick report on my musical enjoyment of Friday night: the 'show' and sing-along with Johnny Nick was a lot of fun, especially when he becomes Al Jolson. And then, he becomes Billy Joel....endless channeling of our favorite artists and songs. "Go, Go, Go, Johnny, Go!"
He can be found at the Patio tonight, 7 to 10.

Also tonight, Kent Taylor Brown at Vinz (Vines) on the beach, right next to the beach market. 7 pm. Can't miss that, so the Patio will have to wait 'til a bit later in the evening!

Saturday is starting to get interesting as a music night...I'll add more as soon as I get the info.

Looking forward to the 'jam' on Sunday afternoon at Vero Beach Veterans, too. 4:30 'til 8:30. Come dance or bring your instrument and sit in.

Friday, January 18, 2013

This evening, Friday:

No DejaVu at Kelly's - they'll be back next week.

The band Reckoning at 14th Ave. Steak House, 6 to 9pm. Some good dancing there.

Marschall Van Doren plays 'every song those dancers knew' as he returns to play keyboard and sing for an evening of ballroom dancing at the Polish American Club.( located at 7500 U.S. 1, north of county road 508, just before Wabasso). Extra large dance floor, and a really affordable drinks. $10 per person at the door. 7 to 10pm.

Johnny Nick, piano and vocals, is back to 'knock 'em dead' at the DiMare piano bar on Ocean, (just south of the old Chop House), 7 to 10pm...and on.

I wanted you to know about a special evening on Saturday, featuring our own Kent Taylor Brown. His first appearance at the Vinz wine bar on the beach, right near the Beach Market. This is a write up I found about Zandra's new place (she used to be a partner in the Bodega Blue bar downtown):
A new Wine Bar/Cafe in Vero Beach called Vinz pronounced "Vines" serving a wide variety of craft beers and unique wines with a healthy menu to include local organic greens a variety of cheese plates, flatbreads and panini sandwiches.

I believe Kent will start playing at 7pm 'til about 10pm.

Hope to see you there.

Thursday, January 17, 2013

Hello all,

Wednesday evening at 14th Ave. Steak House did not disappoint! All the friends were there and we had a wonderful time. It was so good to see Kent Taylor Brown climbing up on the furniture to wail on his saxophone again! Jeff Haley was in fine voice and had the dance floor filled all evening. Marschall Van Doren sat in and gave the evening his special energy and of course, Peter Armfield was there with his base. Thank you guys, we loved it!

Notice: DejaVu will not be playing at Kelly's this Friday but will be there next week. Another flu victim, but getting through it.

Tonight, checking out Johnny Nick at the American Bar and Grill.

See previous post for more info.

Wednesday, January 16, 2013

It's Wednesday and that can only mean -
...the dance party at 14th Ave Steakhouse, featuring Kent Taylor Brown on keyboards, guitar and saxophone. Add to that the very entertaining Jeff Haley on vocals, toss in a few 'guest artists' and it should be another evening to remember!   I'll certainly be there, 6 to 9 pm.

Also, at YNOT club, you will find another music man, Johnny Nick, knocking out the songs with some fine piano work from 7 to 10 pm.

Thursday, Jan 17: the same Johnny Nick puts on a rousing show at the American Bar and Grill, Vista Royale, from 6:30...til close.

Friday, Jan 18: We should have DejaVu at Kelly's Irish Pub if he has managed to kick the flu. I'll check with him on Thursday and let you know. He and Eddie play at 8:30 to 11 pm. Always a great party.

Also: The band, Reckoning gets everyone going - dance, dance, dance - at the 14th Ave. Steakhouse, downtown Vero. They go 6 to 9pm.

Give me any info about music that you have. Send to verobeachlive@gmail.com

Ah, Sunday. Nice day for a nature walk in Fellsmere - but, must be back in time for the jam at the Vets Club. (see below.)

Received this from a great piano player, Mark from TightRope. They play at a jam at the Moose, on 43rd ave., also Sunday afternoons.

FYI: TightRope Band will be performing at the Downtown Friday Nite Fest on Friday Jan the 25th.

Also, this from Rick Collins, one of my favorite drummer/singers:

Hello: tonight Saturday we are at Earls Hideaway in Sebastian 8:30pm till 12:30am
Sunday Afternoon we are at Waldos 1pm till 4
Sunday night 6pm till 10pm……………….
Rick

Thanks guys. For the moment, I'm just throwing info on the page to keep up the momentum, but soon...it will be more organized. Bear with...

Sunday -Be sure to go to the Vero Beach Veterans to enjoy the 'jam' with Kent Taylor Brown and all the musicians who sit in with him, and the singers who step up to the mic. Starts at 4:30 until 8:30, located off US 1 at 26th street, just over the railroad tracks.

Monday - Marschall Van Doren rocks the YNOT club on U.S.1, south of Oslo. He plays and sings with a great energy and  plays a variety of music styles. Please come for even a short while to keep that great dancing venue going now that Marschall is there. 7 to 10pm.

Also: Kent Taylor Brown at Dockside, 6:30 to 8:30. I have always loved the intimacy of hearing Kent at Dockside, watching his fingers on the keys and his feet dancing on the pedals. And of course, almost feeling the vibe of the sax when he starts wailing on that. And Dockside has a great happy hour!

More soon.
Have a beautiful outdoor Sunday. This is the weather we live for here on the Treasure Coast.
ps. Notice in the green space at the top of the page "Where are these bars and clubs?" gives you addresses and phone numbers of various venues. Also to be updated.

TGYF!

I'm exhausted after attending all the great music this week. I don't know how the musicians do it, but I'm so glad they do.

Once I'm out there though, enjoying the music and socializing, I am so glad I got myself out of the house!

Last night, Thursday, I had to laugh and shake my head in amazement at the 'magical' show Johnny Nick put on for everyone at the American Bar and Grill at Vista Royale. And Tony, the Italian singer, was right there backing up with his smooth vocals.
Johnny is the real deal as piano player and showman. Be sure to catch him at DiMare this evening.

And then, zip over to Kelly's at Miracle Mile to hear more magic: Vince Capporale on keyboards and bringing great vocals. Enjoy a lot of your favorites delivered by Vince and maybe his drummer, Eddie will be back after his 'repair' surgery. Vince's Deja Vu band goes until 11 pm.

Friday, Jan 11th - Deja Vu at Kelly's Irish Pub, Miracle Mile, 8:30 to 11 pm.  Great party!
Also: The band Reckoning entertains at 14th Avenue Steak House, Downtown Vero, 6 to 9 pm. Non-stop dancing!
And also: Johnny Nick at DiMare on the beach, (right next door to the old Chop House on Ocean)piano and vocals, 7 to 10 pm...and on!

Be sure to check all of this entertainment out to see what floats your particular musical boat.

Saturday, Jan 12  Is it true, a time out for all you live music lovers?

Nope, just heard last night that Tony and Holly are doing their thing at the American Bar and Grill. I've heard these two really sing wonderfully together. I'll probably try to catch that act myself. I'd say, from 7 to 10 pm. Unless I get back to you with more accurate times.

Sunday - Jan 13  Ah, once again, it's the jam session at the Vero Beach Veterans. Vero's own Kent Taylor Brown leads and  some very accomplished musicians will sit in to play their instrument or sing.Great energy and good dance floor. (location is at 26th street and U.S.1, just across the tracks where you see the flags flying.) Check this jam out, I think you'll like it!

I feel so grateful to be in Vero with easy access to so much live music. Hope you are enjoying it too.

Wednesday, January 9, 2013

Hello Music Lovers,

So far the week has been lively and fun! When you go out to hear live music, you never know who will show up to play and sing. Guest artists they are called in the music world.

Tuesday night was no exception. YNOT Club was full of happy diners (the pizza is great!) and people were at the bar ready for some entertainment. Kent Taylor Brown at the keyboard was joined by Mike of "Nasty Habits" (guitar) and Johnny K, (bass) two great musicians who have been around a long time. Guest artists got up to sing (including me!) and it was a really wonderful evening. Kent plays there every Tuesday from 7 to 10 pm.

I had to leave early and buzzed over to Wanda Johnson's debut at Kelly's where she gets everybody up to sing karaoke. Really nice to have Wanda there, no smoke, and a perfect venue for her. Kim, a veteran karaoke singer with Wanda for over 10 years she told me, was  so perfect in her renditions of some old and new favorites.

The live music carousel keeps turning. See you tonight at the 14th Avenue Steak House to enjoy, once again, Kent Taylor Brown and Jeff  Haley and wear your dancing shoes. 6 to 9 pm.

Monday, January 7, 2013

Hello music lovers,

The season is well underway with an abundance of good music around town.

You really must know about the jam that takes place every Sunday at the Vero Beach Veterans Club, right at 26th street and U.S.1 (cross the rail road tracks and it's on the left where the flags are flying.) The jam starts at 4:30 pm and goes until 8:30 pm.
Yesterday, Sunday, Jan 6th, Kent Taylor Brown was the jam 'facilitator' and as usual, it was fantastic! So much variety and incredibly accomplished musicians. The audience had a wonderful time and someone said, "if the people of Vero Beach only knew what great talent performs at these jams, for free, there wouldn't be an empty chair in the place!"
Don't miss it next Sunday, Jan. 13th. starting at 4:30 pm.

Here's a brief rundown of what I know about where the music is this week:
